Welcome to the Home Page for the Gladwin County Genealogical Society.

Our hope is to coordinate and stimulate genealogical activities.
We also plan to cooperate in the location, preservation, publication

of records of value to genealogists as well as to deposit these
records in suitable repositories.

Annual membership Jan thru Dec is $15.00 per person or family.

Genealogy Room Hours are:

Monday - Closed

Tuesday - 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Wednesday - 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p,m

Thursday - 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p,m

Fiday - Closed

Saturday - By chance or appointment

Sunday - Closed

For copies of Vital Records contact Gladwin County Clerk @ 989-426-7351 or

mail to: 401 W. Cedar Avenue, Gladwin MI 48624

Certified copies are $10.00 each and $5.00 for each additional copy of the same .

You can pay by check or money order made payable to Gladwin County Clerk

or you can pay fees by credit card. To pay by credit card call Government payment service

at 888-604-7888 24 hours or to make a payment on line go to: www.governmentpayment.com

Have the Pay Location code when paying, Pay Location Code #5124. A fee for this service

will be added to the total amount charged. The Government payment service will then fax

the Gladwin County Clerks office that you have paid the fee and you can then pickup the

copies or have them mailed to you.

We provide Genealogical Research for $10.00 per hour,

Obituary lookups are $5.00 for up to 4 obits, and $1.00 per obit after 4,

includes copying and mailing.
